Evocation of Mistress Mary

Ideally she should be worked at the Crossroads or the
Graveyard – though a shrine/altar/table might be erected in her honor,
positioned toward the North or South. You may also find the addition of a
“Demon Bell” – a bell (a Catholic handbell is perfect) washed in beer, red wine
(and vinegar), or liquor, named for the diabolical spirits, and buried in the
graveyard for 6 days before being retrieved and used – useful in evoking her
and infernal spirits. Ideally it should have a low resonance to thusly echo
their own low vibration.

Given the roads of Mistress Mary, the evocation of each
manifestation varies slightly – from which offerings are best to which prayer
is to be read. Below you will find outlined which locations, offerings, and
prayers are best for each of my previously presented aspects of her (though they are not the only
aspects):

  • Maria Satanica, Queen
    of Hell
    : Any of the locations
presented are suited to her evocation, simply ensure to bring as much fire as
    you (safely) can. Offerings include:
    Animals Sacrifices (or blood of) – lamb/goat, black hen, dove*, snake;
rotted/spoiled meat, bladed weapons, tridents, lances and spears, red wine
mixed with vinegar, thorny brambles or red roses, Sinner’s Dirt/Dirt of the
Damned – the grave dust from the grave a particularly nasty person (murderers,
rapists, etc.), statues of Mother Mary that have been defiled with blood,
    graveyard dirt and brimstone.

Prayer:
Maria Satanica
Queen of Hell:
Purveyor of Damnation,
Consort of The Devil,
Mistress of the Diabolica;
She who drove the spear –
Into the Heart of God,
Who lapped at the blood
Of Christ – upon his Cross,
And smiled;
Sho rules the infernal nethers,
And who creeps – like the serpent –
Up the spine and into the mind;

The flesh is yours,
The blood is yours,
The choice is yours.”

  • Queen of the Dead:
    Ideal locations include places of
Death, Disease and Despair – Battlefields, Hospitals, places of Massacre,
    Murder, etc., Caves/Tunnels, Graveyards/Sepulchres/Mausoleums – especially Catholic
cemeteries which feature Mary statues at the foot of the crucified Jesus,
Crematoriums, any Subterranean place – including basements/cellars. Suitable offerings: bones, rotted/spoiled meat,
trident, hot-pepper infused rum, yellow or red roses, Sinner’s Dirt/Dirt of the
Damned – the grave dust from the grave a particularly nasty person (murderers,
rapists, etc.), statues of Mother Mary that have been defiled with blood,
graveyard dirt and brimstone, that are then buried in the graveyard.

Prayer:
Mistress Mary
Queen of the Dead,
Devil of the Boneyard,
Who digs a hand into the grave,
And raises the bones of the Forgotten;
Raise the Dead,
Raise the Dead,
Raise the fires – and plant the Bones,
And cast the trident into the heart,
Of yours (and my) transgressors,
The flesh is yours,
The blood is yours,
The choice is yours.

  • Queen of the Night:
    Ideal locations include; Crossroads
    – “T”, Brothels, Deserted Roads or Building – especially desolate,
nature-reclaimed Churches, bars/taverns, alleys, gardens, black markets and
    curio/herb shops. Suitable offerings:
aromatic flowers – particularly those with thorns, bladed weapons, champagne,
red wine, perfumes, coins, statues of Mother Mary that have been dressed in
oils and perfumes, bathed in liquor and cigarette/cigarillo smoke, and dusted
    with sulphur.

Prayer:
Mistress Mary
Queen of Night,
Whose kiss is that of poison,
Rise from the depths – and settle,
Now, upon the Mortal Plane;
Lady of the Lonely Streets,
Bare of flesh and free of guilt,
You are the Unholy Harlot,
And you walk in infamy –
Proudly –
The flesh is yours,
The blood is yours,
The choice is yours.

  • Queen of the
    Crossroads
    : Ideal locations include:
Crossroads – “X” and “T”, places of Death, Disease and Despair – Battlefields,
Hospitals, places of Massacre, Murder, etc., Thick Woodlands/Wetlands, Deserted
Roads or Building – especially desolate, nature-reclaimed Churches, any
traditionally sacred, magical locales. Suitable offerings: Animals Sacrifices (or blood of) – lamb/goat, black hen,
dove*, snake; Poisonous flowers – Jimsonweed, in particular, absinthe, tonics,
potions, thorny brambles or red roses, Sinner’s Dirt/Dirt of the Damned – the
grave dust from the grave a particularly nasty person (murderers, rapists,
etc.), Coins, Brooms, Cauldrons, statues of Mother Mary that have been defiled
with blood, crossroad dirt and brimstone.

Prayer:
Mistress Mary – Queen of the Crossroads,
Keeper of the Arcane,
Divulge to me your mysteries,
O Great Queen –
Adorned in black-hen feathers,
And bathed in blood –
Settle now upon this place:
The nexus of your Queendom,

The flesh is yours,
The blood is yours,
The choice is yours.

Evocation

The evocation ritual itself is simple – draw her seal in
chalk or pemba (or blood), surround the seal with 3, 7 (being best), or 9 red/black
candles, and leave the offerings upon its face. Read or sing her prayer and
call to her as you light the candles. However, I warn, don’t let the simplicity
of the ritual itself mask the challenges of evoking her. Energy is vastly
important, the lower vibration you can manage, the better. The bell helps, but fire
and music are your best allies. I recommend combining shredded (dried) tobacco with
dried rose petals/stems, and soaking them in Sacred Fire (about two shots) with
a shot or two of added strong, dark liquor (spiced rum or gold tequila are both
good). Once they’ve soaked for a few minutes, in a (raised) metal bowl or
cauldron, ignite them atop her seal.

At which point, you may continue to call her. She will
arrive, regardless, but the above steps will aid in solidifying her energy – so
that communications is easier. If this is your first jaunt with the diabolical
spirits, they communicate in a verrryyy
different way than spirits or those entities of higher vibration. I find that
they rely more on feeling and emotion to communicate – so pay close attention
to that. While her presence might be punctuated by a tight, uneasiness, it will
mellow as you proceed. She possessed a very hot energy – almost burning, and
then a numbness, as though you’ve stood for too long in the sun or by a raging
fire.

While each of the aspects have a unique personality and
energetic fingerprint, they are all quite forthright and blunt – do not cross
them, especially if you have tender feelings. While Queen of the Dead and Queen
of the Crossroads tend to be more reserved, they do not tolerate offenses any
moreso than the fierier aspects. In fact, the Queen of the Dead can be the most
aggressive of the bunch – it simply takes a bit more to set her off. Queen of
the Crossroads is akin to a serpent, she’ll writhe around you and snap with
lightning speed without warning.

But the most important part if don’t fear them: 1) they know
when you fear them – and they will exploit that fear for their own amusement,
in good humor – but for those easily frightened, you might be inclined to stop
the working prematurely – without learning, 2) while they are very powerful, they
are not simply trouble-mongers – like Lucifer, they mean to teach, to improve
and to better humankind – albeit through force and punishment. But for those
who seek knowledge, who remain open to their teachings and free from guilt or
judgement – they will happily embrace you into their fold.

Roads/Paths/Aspects:

  • Maria Satanica, Queen of Hell: the most powerful and volatile manifestation, it is she who
Destroys, whose force and will is unmatched, she who hold the Fork of the

Not a sigil, per se, but I loved the mental image – so here we are!

Also, I do have this Traveler’s Protection Seal which actually fits closely to what I think you were actually looking for.

I am the Crossroad: Mod on Qedava’s
Revival of the Moon

“The circle is cast widdershins to represent the descent into the Underworld.” … “The circle is not a circle but a spiral, a downward-leading staircase. After you depict the circle in this world and call in your familiars to empower it, begin to slow and meditatively walk widdershins in an ever decreasing spiral, turning ever more inward, until you reach the center. The spiral exists within as well as along the outward circle and, in this way, the spiral takes you down to the depths and then brings the depths up into you. The circle is not a barrier, but a cauldron of power that seethes.” … “Once the spiral has been drawn up from the realms of unconsciousness into the realms of consciousness, and becomes apparent to the witch, the operation and interaction may commence. But to draw the dead there in the first place you must be capable of sinking into the darkness and drawing it up through your own being. There are no barriers between witches and the unseen worlds; all fire and all shadow comes through us, the conduits.” – Lee Morgan

After the threshold is established, the witch is the Axis Mundi, the center and the sword that has pierced through the realms, pinning them to one time and place. This symbol is suited to the work as it reflects the as above/so below polarity required for bridging the plans by connecting Neptune (depths, subconscious, and one of the farthest, slowest planets) and the Moon (light, illumination, fastest of the classical “planets”). I have modified the sigil (as shown above) to aid in rituals of traveling into other planes, and for drawing beings up from such planes and into the body. To that end, I have shifted, within the symbol, the dark orb from in the trident to the side, turning it into a symbol of Lilith (without losing the trident). Around the circle below I have added a strophalos (Hekate’s Wheel), to open the gates (she’s a keyholder and guide.) This shifts the initial symbol into one of feminine power, crossroad and dark associated deity, and therefore becomes an aid in invocation of those powers.

To become the crossroad at the center of the working, draw the symbol centered over the breast. In the picture below (from a similar working) I have a stropholos in between symbols of Sulphur and Mercury. This was part of a dark of the moon conjuration. It was successful, if not exactly satisfying. Such is the way with powers: you get what you need, not what you want.

The Left-Hand Serpent

Drawn on the top of the left hand (oriented trident-to-fingertips)  – used to better collect low-vibration energy, which can the be directed with the right hand in workings dealing with the material world, or the lower manifestations. Also good for luck in gambling.

image

Some mods on Qedava’s Left-Hand Serpent

Rather
than three tridents, as in the original, I changed the forks to
Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus (shown respectively top to bottom, in the
image above). I wanted to harness those lower vibrations on a broader
spectrum by reaching out to the other prominently placed slow-moving
planets in my natal chart.

“They have extremely long orbital periods: Uranus 84 years, Neptune almost 164, and Pluto 248 years. Saturn, which has an orbital period of 29.5 years, is also sometimes considered to be a slow-moving planet. Because these planets are so far from the sun they" … “ stay in the same sign for years.”  Source

The specialization of this sigil is personal to my natal chart, as you can see with the symbols of Scorpio, in which is my midheaven conjunct Pluto, and Capricorn, in which is my Neptune (and Saturn, incidentally) conjunct ascendant. These placements indicate psychism, clairvoyance, occultism, and how I deal with chaos. The Left Hand Serpent took well to these modification, and could easily be adapted to other people’s planetary placement (just change the scoprio/capricorn to your particulars), so I thought I’d share.

The Forge

The Serpent Sigil

While serpents ordinarily rule over life/death/rebirth, fertility and the dichotomy of “good/evil” and light/dark, wishes need not be confined to these parameters – apply instead the concept of the kundalini, the force of desire. || for more information on my use of the serpent, see Feeding the Black Serpent ||

A Few Uses

  • The Wishing Serpent: To use, simply write your desire, beginning where the neck of the serpent meets the head. If you choose to recreate the sigil in favor of printing (when this sigil is used at its exact size, the “uncoiled” measures around 3 feet), ensure there is room to complete your desire. Cut along the lines, which should leave you with a long, serpent ribbon. This is best performed outside, though it may be done inside away from flammables over a large-mouth bowl. Using a candle placed on the ground

(of a fitting color – red works as a default), allow the tail of the serpent to catch, holding the snake by its head, allow it to burn from the bottom to the top. If used inside, scatter the ashes to the wind, otherwise they have already been aptly scattered.

  • The Healing Serpent: Utilizing much of the same procedure as above, write the name of he/she you wish to heal 7 or 9 times upon the face of the sigil – again, starting from the neck of the serpent. Cut along the lines. Coil the serpent back and flip it over, on the reverse, write 3, 7, or 9 times the name of nature of their ailment(s). Using a black, white or red candle, perform the same process as above – reading the prayer:

Coiled serpent, now –
Unwound – Behest:
My bidding, go about
The soil,
Viper tongue splayed –
Oh, Black Serpent,
Recant the poisoned-
Tooth venom,
And devour that sickness
That you hath cast,
Recant – by witch’s will –
And feed it to the forge.

  • The Witches’ Watch: Should an event arise that calls for a timed ritual, this serpent might serve as time-keeper –such as for opening the realms, crossroads work, evocations, invocations and possessions. Simply cut along the lines and drive a piece of cotton cord or thread through the head of the serpent and hang it in a safe place. When you are ready to begun your working, ignite the tail with your working candle – burn times vary based on paper used, circulation, temperature, etc. I recommend trying a test burn using the same paper and location, to get a general idea of your time frame. Play with the size of the sigil to shorten or lenthen your working time.
  • The Poison Serpent: On the face of the sigil, write out your unsavory desires, perhaps something to the extent of: “May the poison serpent rot the flesh and mind.” On the reverse, write your victim’s name nine times, beginning not at the neck, but at the tail. This pairs the elevation of your desire (over your victim) with the symbol of their force of will (to fight) being eaten away as the serpent is devour by the flame and freed into the aether. Collect the ashes and blend with sulphur powder, a poisonous plant of your choosing (ideally one that’s symptoms match the nature of your desire), iron oxide (optional) and bone dust (optional).

There are countless uses! Please, by all means get creative with it! I’d love to hear what some of you guys [would] do with it!
