Lucifer left the Kingdom of Heaven twice. The first time he was Cast – when the Word of God had been tested, he threw the most devout through the Golden Gates.

Torn from his back, the Wings of Virtue – he was birthed in the manger. Upon the time of his Retribution – he returned, through the Gates to open arms.

But given him at the time of his Damnation: a mortal soul. God’s fury had been tested, and to the Scapegoat was offered an opportunity.

Upon his return from the Mortal Hell, he saw the Prison through eyes of Free Will and knew then what must be done:

So he left again, of his own accord. To walk this Hell Immortal – mourning the souls of the ensnared.

Lucifer the Mourner.
The Bastard Son.
The Wingless Angel.
The Reborn.

For when God gave to him Will – he freed him from the Shackles of Heaven the Kingdom in the Clouds, the Timeless Prison – the Kingdom is Stolen Souls – wherein none may Transcend.

Forget not the dual nature of Gates.
