The Oracle

Image

Flower of Fire

Meant to protect the abused from their abuser – no matter the variety. Best when worn: can be made into an amulet, drawn on the body, carried on paper. You might also rest your perfumes upon it, so that the mist becomes a form of protection, I recommend doing one or two of the above, so that even if you forget one, your anxiety about forgetting it won’t alert your abuser.

Impotence Cross

qedavathegrey:

Hell hath no fury…” As the title suggests, this working is to render a man impotent for any reason deemed fit, though adultery/unfaithfulness are leading contributors. Or maybe he’s just a sum’bitch, who am I to question? If there’s a man in your life who needs to pay for something – few things are quite as effective as this.

Recipe

  • Measurements** – cut to length in black thread/string
  • Black Candletaper or federal
  • Acorn
  • Mint (dried)
  • Item of the man’s clothingunderwear are ideal, but other
garments will work – black cloth otherwise

Optional:

  • Aconite/Wolfs’ Bane –
    **poisonous, be wary**
  • Whiskey – hah!

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting out a square (6×6 ;; 8×8) from the
underwear (I was going to make a pun about being brief here, but it was so awful I had to remove it), clothing or
black cloth and soak it in whiskey or a strong tea of mint. Leave it soaking
while you work the rest of the ritual.
  2. Take your black candle and, using the measurements, cut the
candle down to the correct size and carve his name into it. It works better to
cut from the top of the candle instead of the bottom, as then it can still be
placed snugly in an aptly sized candle-holder. You may – at this point – dress
the candle in Devil’s Oil, X Oil or any crossing oil you fancy. Light the
    candle.
  3. While the candle burns, take the original measures and,
while thinking of your desire, fold the length in half and place three knots
(one in the center, then one on either end). As a note, depending on the size,
you may find it easier to use thread – sometimes when you fold it in half you’re
left with very little room…. Thread is easier to knot in tight spaces than a
heavier string or twine. With a hammer, or other violent instrument, pound the
acorn to smithereens and collect what remains. Add the acorn dust to your dried
mint and give a brief stir with your finger to incorporate. You may also, at
this point, burn a scrap of paper with their name on it (paired possibly a
rather fitting incantation) and incorporate the ash into the blend.
  4. When the candle has burned down and only an inch or so
remains, extinguish the candle and then (in much the same manner as the acorn)
pound it and any melted pieces into “shards.” Mix them into the mint/acorn
    mixture.
  5. Fetch your scrap of fabric from the whiskey/tea and give it
a wring. Upon it, pile the tied length of string and your herb mixture (as well as your Aconite). Gather
the corners and tie with another piece of twine or thread. Bury it in the
graveyard and leave the tea/whiskey as an offering.

**Measurements/measures: the length of a man’s penis cut,
most often, into string or fabric – the more precise the measurement, the
better. Used in instances of control, love, etc.

Mirror, Mirror (Reversal)

qedavathegrey:

Better safe than sorry. This simple ritual can be utilized to guard against ill-craft aimed at you by another witch or witches. Let us not pretend that witches do not have a penchant for stirring drama nearly as much as they stir their potions.

To prevent any lashings at the hands of your peers and reverse whatever they should send your way, I recommend this working:

Things you will need

  • A Mirror (hand, wall, any will do – but one expressly for this purpose)
  • Angelica (dried)
  • Salt (pink, white or black)
  • Vinegar
  • Black Cloth (used to cover the mirror, so it should be sized accordingly)
  • (2) clean White Rags
  • Wax Block (plain wax – can be found near canning supplies usually)
  • (Optional: A cigarette or incense matching the work)

Before working, “wipe” the mirror – lay it down, mirrored side up, dust with salt and cover, making sure never to catch yourself in it while doing so. Just before the ritual, shake off the salt (away from you, again, making sure not to catch your reflecting in it) and re-cover.

Begin by brewing up a “tea” of the dried angelica, salt and vinegar. Boil and then let steep for 5 minutes. Pour into a vessel of your choosing and prop up the covered mirror in your working space – against a wall or piece of furniture and situate yourself before it.

If you so choose, light your cigarette or incense. With your items ready, uncovered the mirror.

Tend to it by dipping with one white rag into the tea and washing its face with it. Continue dipping and wetting until its surface is damp, then buff with the dry white rag.

With the wax block, draw this symbol on its cleaned face while reciting the following incantation and beholding yourself therein:

Cast an eye on –
Wrath and pain,
Of vile witches’ curse – restrain,
And turn thy gaze:
Beholden thou who plagues,
My sapphire night,
And golden day,

 Mirror, mirror;
Guard my being –
And like the second hand:
Unwind –
Midnight in,
To evening time;

Silver sentry,
My crystalline Knight,
Like the moon –
Turn their tides,
(No matter their size)
Into tidal towers –
Crashing hind-wards
Upon the Circe,
Siren, or –
Sage,
Who dare dispatch,
Ill-will unto me;

Show them thus:
Should they tread on me,
A hateful rage,
Upon which the likes,
They have never seen.

When you are done, thank for ensuring your protection

and cover the mirror with the black cloth. Store it away in a dark closet (if possible, facing toward the outside of the house); Repeat annually or biannually.

Black Mirror

apocryphv:

In a black glass I seek my fate.
Eldritch lore I seek to take.
Through the darkness I try to reach,
New secrets for the Abyss to teach.
My reflection is cast anew,
A darker version of what I say and do.
A place I trade with my light twin,
On the side of the glass where I should have been.

Guys, don’t forget to submit your stuff to @apocryphv! Just posted up (this) the first submission!
