If you like licorice and despise sweet cocktails – like I do – I recommend spiced rum and black coffee over ice with a splash of anise extract. Does it taste great? Not particularly, but it has a very smooth, numbing taste. Which I do like. It just sort of tastes like you’re drinking a liquid Good & Plenty.
