I would appreciate it if you could do maybe something to draw money or bring forth prosperity for me and my housemates.

qedavathegrey:

I can do that, surely. Is there a particular situation?

Yes actually, me and one of my roommates just lost our really shitty jobs and are seeking new ones. That leaves only one person with a job in the house and all of us in a tight spot. So, any help and all help will be accepted.

I’d be delighted darling. I’ll consult with my Familiars and get to work.

Red Women;

Foremost, I have to thank icuiname for leading me onto this conclusion, but I am almost 90% positive, the dreams featured the Sacred Caves of Crete – and may in fact relate to a dream I had yeaarssss ago. This conclusion would lead me to believe these women in someway relate to whom I call Ariadne, but is a much older aspect of her worshiped by the Minoans as the labyrinthoio potnia – Mistress of the Labyrinth – who I have researched on and off with intrigue for years now. Why I didn’t note the possible connection sooner is absurd! Other contenders point to Malta, but something about Minoan Crete feels right…

In fact, I even posted a labyr(/iu)s sigil here a couple of months ago! It can be found here.

My thought process in regards to the bats is: the Labyris – the Double Headed Axe – is often related to butterflies, but would it be so crazy (considering they worshiped in caves) to suggest they may also have a particular relationship with bats?

It doesn’t help that their script is yet undecipherable.

Thoughts?

I am in the midst of working on prosperity rituals for you, catered to your particular circumstances! Additionally, I’ve elected to add kamikaze-kumquats to this list. By the end of the day, these should be completed!

witchspire

For you, darling, I will be constructing a sigil – I’ll post it up here and tag you thusly with further instruction for use. 🙂

coyotecomforts

I will be lighting a candle and sending goodness in your direction, I may also construct a sigil for you to Attract Goodness and Repel Negativity. If I do so, I;ll make sure to tag you, as well!

With that, I’m closing this session. However, look forward to me opening up the same opportunity once or twice a month! And, as usual, you may always contact me via message for any urgent regards – assuming it’s working, some of you noted that it was being problematic. I’ll try to work out those kinks.

Much Love,

Red Women, Response.

mysticmikayla –

I responded to your questions, but apparently it didn’t post – I was on mobile, and I’ve found that it just won’t post anything if it’s over a certain length.

So, here it goes for round 2 – the abridged version:

The Guide was a blonde woman who had an almost militant air about her. The sort of person who is reserved, but strategic. Quiet, and during the course of the dream she said very little, only to toss warnings at the group to the extent of: ‘Be careful, this is a harsh incline’ or ‘The stone is wet, be careful not to slip.’ Interestingly, however, she carried a torch. The rest of the group had flashlights and powerful spotlights to account for the cameras. The Guide, though, toted a torch, The old kind you would expect to see in a dungeon or the likes of Indiana Jones carrying. I have wondered if the fire had something to do with it.

It’s also important to note in regards to the Guide, that she did not know these creatures were there – but she knew something was. She had a strong intuition, that much was clear. Of course, this goes back to the second part of the dream wherein she is present, the Red Women never exposed themselves. They were there, and watching, and I think the Guide could sense someone or something watching, by the way she seemed to be ever searching for something on just the other side of the darkness. But when she was present, the Red Women did not come near. They watched quietly. They were not upset with her presence, they were just being vigilant. If anything, her presence actually calmed the Women – whereas in the portion without her, the Women were feral – and delighted in torturing the unwanted guests. They would laugh – in their strange shrieking noises – as they drug one away. It was very unsettling. Like cats playing with mice.

The Den was very interesting – it was situated deep in the cave, through a series of tunnels that snaked upward through the stone, nearer and nearer to the surface. The main Den, where the Red Women stayed was cavernous – much like the tunnels in Malta now that I think about it! There were scant furniture, mostly stools and the like hewn out of the stone. The cavern gave way to a dark tunnel, wherein the Leader resided. It was strange, because it was very dark, but I also remember there being a blindingly white light. And I mean, white, not like the sun which has a warmer glow – this light was harsh and painfully white. And the Women, whose noises were now partially intelligible to me were speaking, but I don’t remember what they were saying. The gist of which was them leading me toward the tunnel to the Leader’s chamber.

I walked into the mouth of the dark tunnel (which was very narrow, in that you had to turn to the side to squeeze through) and out of the blinding white light came a massive swarm of bats – which didn’t phase me. I just kept walking forward into the light and when I entered, I was transported back to the original mouth of the cave, watching from the cavernous ceiling through the eyes of bats, with the Leader next to me, showing me the scene. It was almost as if we were one with the darkness, because I could see here and we were both clung free of gravity against the craggy, rock arch. And it was then that she showed me the group dismounting from the dingy, and I watched, afraid I was going to be forced to watch the same scene again – but this time, The Guide climbed from the dingy after they had all touched their feet to land.

At which point, she led the group in, with torch in hand into the cave. And they came to a fork in the tunnel, at which point the Guide began squinting her eyes into the shadows to try to make out any semblance of recognizable shape – all the while, the Red Women, their Leader and I all clung to the darkness watching. The dream ended with the Guide abruptly turning around and holding the torch up, and the Leader looked to me as if to say:

“Had they only come with her, things could have been different.”

It’s interesting you should mention Lilith, because while I don’t think it was the singular Lilith, but the idea that they could be lilitu is not a bad idea, actually. I’ve never known them to be described as “red” – but, nonetheless, the theory has some weight to it.

However, I’m not sure why lilitu would be held in a cave – yes, they’re creatures of the night – but I’ve never heard of them being bound to caves, especially considering they rely heavily on humankind in a parasitic capacity. This could explain, in part, the reasoning behind the fact that only women were present – though, be it biblical bastardization or not, they seem to be connected to both fertility and infants, of which there were none, so I’m stumped.

Thank you for the input! And while I’m not sure that they were lilitu, I think you might be on the right track – perhaps a near relative. Something about the hairstyle did have an undeniably Sumerian appearance, so I’ll look into relatives from the same origin!

This might sound strange, but I’m in the mood for ritual – are any of you in need of something or a bit of added support?

Let me know in the next few hours and I’ll do my best to make it happen.

I’m trying to move into my first home and have been nonstop high-stress about it. I’d love some more support. Thank you!

While I am not opposed to offering magical help with this matter, as someone who has moved quite a few time – may I suggest a more mundane solution?

Undoubtedly moving is extraordinary stressful process, but I urge you to – every day – take a photo of your progress. Whatever stage you might be at, take a shot.

When you get discouraged, thumb through the photos. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and spend too much time focusing on what is still yet to do, you can lose sight of how far you’ve already come – especially this being your first time.

Document the process – and let it remind you that, while you may be stressed, this is how much you’ve already completed.

Basically, allow some room for pride and excitement! You have a new place, you’re taking a big step – one you manifested. THAT is something to be proud of. Allow yourself to revel in it!

In Rotterdam this week, the designer Daan Roosegaarde is showing off the result of three years of research and development: The largest air purifier ever built. It’s a tower that scrubs the pollution from more than 30,000 cubic meters of air per hour—and then condenses those fine particles of smog into tiny “gem stones” that can be embedded in rings, cufflinks, and more.

Each stone is roughly equivalent to cleaning 1,000 cubic meters of air—so you’re literally wearing the pollution that once hung in the air around Roosegaarde’s so-called Smog Free Tower. In the designer’s words, buying a ring means “you donate a thousand cubic meters of clean air to the city where the Smog Free Tower is.”

The project has been in the offing for a long time. We wrote about the idea more than two years ago when the Dutch designer first publicly announced the project, which was originally planned for Beijing after the city’s mayor endorsed the idea. Roosegaarde and his team have spent the past few years developing the first prototype in Rotterdam, where it was unveiled this month. “It’s really weird that we accept [pollution] as something normal, and take it for granted,” Roosegaarde explains.

To fund the travel, the studio launched a Kickstarter campaign where you can buy jewelry and cufflinks made with its tiny smog gems—which, theoretically, would eventually become diamonds if they were compressed with much more extreme pressure.

But for now, the tower sits on a patch of grass next to Roosegaarde’s studio in Rotterdam, whose mayor and local government supported the project with grant money.

The process taking place inside its walls is powered by 1,400 watts of sustainable energy, which is comparable to a water boiler, and the studio says it hopes to one day integrate solar PVs into the design to power the process—which works not so differently than some ionic air purifiers. Roosegaarde explains:

By charging the Smog Free Tower with a small positive current, an electrode will send positive ions into the air. These ions will attach themselves to fine dust particles. A negatively charged surface -the counter electrode- will then draw the positive ions in, together with the fine dust particles. The fine dust that would normally harm us, is collected together with the ions and stored inside of the tower. This technology manages to capture ultra-fine smog particles which regular filter systems fail to do.

The team’s Kickstarter, where the studio is raising funds for another eight days, is closing in on doubling its goal—you can get your own smog gems by donating here.
